PROS Solvent Cooler
Refrigerated Assembly
PROS has
designed a solvent cooler that connects to the
existing refrigeration system on a drycleaning machine and provides exceptional
solvent cooling.
This
solvent cooler takes advantage of the refrigeration system's idle time during a cycle. The Solvent Cooler assembly looks similar to a
still condenser housing. It is a stainless steel housing with a
serpentine-style refrigerated coil. This design allows the solvent to have
longer contact time with the coil and the refrigerated coil more effectively
lowers solvent temperature.
The solvent cooler is
installed by a certified refrigeration technician who connects the liquid and
suction line to the machine. Quick disconnect fittings allow the solvent
cooler to be disconnected for cleaning and servicing without losing the charge
on the rest of the refrigeration system.
Control wires from the blower contactor and the pump contactor signal when it is ok for the solvent cooler to operate and a thermostat in the control box regulates the desired solvent temperature.
The solvent cooler assembly includes an expansion valve, Aeroquip quick disconnect fittings, a control box with solenoid valve, thermostat and temperature probe. Estimated installation time is 8 hours.
Each unit also comes with the expertise from PROS to be sure that your investment is installed correctly. PROS is an industry leader in designing retrofit equipment to prolong the life of your existing machine using new technologies.
